Photos illustrate intended look. Because machines, optics, materials, and software differ, you must validate units (mm/in), layer mapping, closed paths, overlaps, and kerf compensation prior to cutting.

Browsing is open. Favorites require an account. Ratings are available to guests and members (limited by IP to curb spam). Downloads work without an account unless otherwise stated by the contributor or item policy.

Yes. Email legal@freelasercutfiles.com with exact URL(s), proof of ownership/authorization, and contact details. We review valid notices quickly and remove where appropriate.

Please report the item URL and the issue (e.g., open paths, scale mismatch) via our contact page. Meanwhile, fix common issues in your editor (join paths, remove duplicates, re-scale).

Most items include SVG, PDF, DXF; some include AI, EPS, CDR. Common apps:

• SVG: Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Affinity Designer, LightBurn, Glowforge App, Cricut (SVG), Silhouette Studio (Business for SVG).
• PDF (vector): Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape, LightBurn, Glowforge App.
• DXF: AutoCAD, DraftSight, LibreCAD, Fusion 360, LightBurn, Silhouette Studio (Free supports DXF).
• AI/EPS: Illustrator (native), CorelDRAW/Affinity (varies), LightBurn (often imports; fallback to SVG).
• CDR: CorelDRAW (native). For cross-app use, export SVG/DXF.

Always verify units, stroke thickness (hairline ~0.001 in / 0.1 mm), layers, and kerf before cutting.

Use hairline strokes for cuts, thicker for score/engrave; map colors to operations in LightBurn/Glowforge. Convert text to outlines. Merge duplicates and ensure closed paths for pockets/inlays.

Ensure the PDF contains vectors (not embedded rasters). Some imports default to inches; verify final dimensions against the item’s notes, and re-scale if needed before cutting.

Prefer R12/2000 DXF for compatibility; confirm mm vs in. Convert splines to polylines if your CAM struggles. Remove zero-length entities and duplicates for clean toolpaths.

Complex effects may rasterize. For cross-app workflows, export SVG/DXF. Always outline text and expand appearances before export to preserve geometry.

Inkscape (free) + LightBurn (paid) is a reliable combo. For craft cutters, use Cricut (SVG) or Silhouette Studio (DXF in Free; SVG in Business edition).

Yes. Most editors export SVG/DXF. After conversion, re-check units, closed paths, and scale. For CAM import issues, try simplifying geometry (flatten transforms, expand strokes).

We create a short-lived, one-time token to protect file locations and reduce scraping. After the brief delay, the download begins automatically.

Some items are delivered as a ZIP archive (for convenience) and may be password-protected. If stated on the page, the default password is freelasercutfiles.com.

No. Delivery links are one-time and time-limited. Share the item page URL instead so others can obtain their own token.

If the item explicitly allows it (e.g., permissive Creative Commons), you may sell physical goods you produce. Digital resale/redistribution of the files themselves is not allowed. When no license is shown, treat as personal/educational use. See License.

Files are periodically scanned but we cannot guarantee they are malware-free. Use up-to-date antivirus. If you receive a warning, email details and the item URL to safety@freelasercutfiles.com.

Verify focus, power/speed/PPi settings, air-assist, material flatness, and cleanliness of optics. Run a small test matrix and adjust until you get clean edges with minimal char.

Measure actual material thickness, apply kerf compensation (e.g., ±0.05–0.2 mm depending on material/laser), and confirm units. Many editors can offset paths for tighter/looser joints.

Try an alternative format from the item (SVG↔DXF↔PDF). In your editor: expand strokes/appearances, flatten transforms, convert text to outlines, and remove clipping masks. Re-import to CAM.
