How you may use designs on FreeLaserCutFiles.com

Overview

Unless otherwise stated on an item page, designs are provided for personal and educational use. Commercial use may be restricted by the contributor’s chosen license. Always read the item’s specific license notes if provided. When a design is published under a standard Creative Commons license, those terms apply and are summarized below for convenience.

Allowed

  • Personal projects, prototypes, and classroom use.
  • Editing for fit, thickness, and kerf adjustments; minor cleanup for cutting quality.
  • Sharing links to item pages on this website.

Not Allowed

  • Re-uploading files elsewhere without permission (including “file packs”).
  • Reselling files “as-is” unless the item explicitly allows it.
  • Using brand names, logos, or copyrighted characters without rights.

Attribution

When attribution is required by the contributor or license, credit the original creator and link back to the item page. For CC licenses marked “BY”, attribution is mandatory.
